Met Gala Outfits
The yearly Met Gala on the first Monday in May is an unparalelled celebration of fashion and its artistry. Taking place in the enormous Metropolitan Museum in NYC, it is a combined party and exhibition.
It is always inspiring to see A-list stars shine in innovative and potentially iconic outfits. So today, we have made a selection of Met Gala outfits that we adore and highlight pieces that we think everyone could use to great effect. Have fun with fashion!
The Cape
Monica Belluci

Monica Belluci stuns in a floor-length ensemble by Dolce & Gabbana in 2014. That year’s theme was to honour the American couturier Charles James.
T.ba has a selection of capes with which you can make movement in your outfit, for example the one below in silky velvet.

Dress in organza
Stephanie Seymour

Stephanie Seymour in Alaïa from 2001 shows us how elegant a dress with multiple layers in chiffon and silk organza can be.
Have a look at one of T.ba’s new dresses in silk organza for summer. For its beauty and versatility, you will make sure to get one of these.

Sheer overlay
Ashley Olsen

In 2013, Ashley Olsen wore a beaded orange Dior Couture dress with a sheer overlay.
With an overlay piece like the shawls by T.ba seen below left, you can make multiple outfits. The overlay adds an interesting feature to all of your looks. Last year’s models at T.ba were completely sold out very quickly so we believe many agree with us.
